![]() Bakewell and Buxton
Bakewell is probably best known for the original
Bakewell Pudding; invented by a chef who made
a mistake while baking. Sample a delicious piece
with a cup of tea in one of the old-fashioned cafes
dotted around the cobbled streets of the town,
before walking off your treat along the beautiful
River Wye.
Situated in the heart of the Peak District is the spa
town of Buxton, famous, of course, for its mineral
water. Discover stunning architecture and plenty
of shops here, while enjoying spectacular views all
around.
