Day 1 KÖNIGSWINTER, ANDERNACH
Selected early morning pick-ups and journey to
Dover/Folkestone for the 10.00am ferry/Eurotunnel
crossing to Calais. Alternatively, we offer
overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer. On arrival in Calais, your
coach will continue through France, Belgium and
Germany to your cruise vessel** in Königswinter in
time for your welcome drink and included threecourse
evening meal.
*Passengers taking the overnight crossing from
the north of England or Scotland, will depart the
previous day and join the vessel on day1 for dinner.
Day 2 KÖNIGSWINTER, KOBLENZ
Christmas Eve: after breakfast, join our optional
excursion to the Ahr Valley. This afternoon we cruise
to Koblenz, where you’ll be at leisure to explore this
historic town. This evening, enjoy a special
four-course Christmas Eve dinner on board.
Day 3 KOBLENZ, RÜDESHEIM / MAINZ
Christmas Day: during breakfast, the vessel
will head to Rüdesheim. To help you celebrate
Christmas, we have included a five-course lunch,
followed by coffee and cakes. This afternoon, you
will transfer by land train to Siegfried’s Musik Kabinett
and sample some of Adolf ’s special glühwein. You
will also have free time to explore Rüdesheim.
This evening, a cold buffet dinner will be served on
board, followed by a party with live music.
Day 4 RÜDESHEIM-BOPPARD / ST GOAR
Boxing Day: this morning as you wake, we will
be making our way to Boppard, where you’ll be at
leisure to explore this delightful village. Alternatively,
join our optional magical Moselle sightseeing
excursion, which includes a wine tasting.
Day 5 BOPPARD/ ST GOAR
Bid farewell to the vessel and, time permitting, stop
at a hypermarket/warehouse en route to Calais for
the return 5.30pm Channel crossing to
Dover/Folkestone. Upon arrival you will be returned
to your original point of departure.
*Passengers returning on the overnight crossing to
the north of England or Scotland, will transfer to the
departure port and arrive in the UK the next day.
