DAY ONE:
Your holiday begins with selected coach pick-ups and the journey to the port of departure, for the 7.35am Irish Sea ferry crossing to Stranraer. Upon arrival, rejoin the coach for the journey to Glasgow where you will have free time before joining the transfer to your hotel, where you will have the evening at leisure.
DAY TWO:
This morning, after a full Scottish breakfast, you may wish to join our optional ‘Loch Lomond Cruise’ excursion. Later this afternoon our coach will return to the hotel in time to transfer you to Edinburgh. Once in Edinburgh, we will take you on our included ‘Edinburgh Walking Tour’, a short orientation tour to show you the very best sights that this beautiful city has to offer. We will then give you free time to explore Edinburgh for yourself. You’ll rejoin the members of your group for the short walk to Edinburgh Castle in time for the 9.00pm evening performance of the
Edinburgh Tattoo. After an evening of action-packed entertainment, we will return you to your hotel for a good night’s rest.
Please note that coaches are not permitted on the Royal Mile on the approach to the castle. This stretch of road is very steep, so we advise sensible walking shoes! On some occasions additional traffic restrictions may apply.
DAY THREE:
After breakfast, we must bid farewell to your hotel and begin our journey homewards, arriving at Stranraer port in time for the 7.50pm Irish Sea ferry crossing to Belfast. Upon arrival, rejoin the coach for the journey back to your original point of departure.
