 Gardens Of Appeltern & Airborne MuseumA visit to the beautiful Gardens of Appeltern, situated in the heart of Holland (entrance included). Over 180 model gardens are on display, featuring over 6,000 plants; the largest collection of plants in Holland. During your time here you can admire the ornamental decorations and take in all the fabulous displays. You will then visit the famous Airborne Museum at Oosterbeek (entrance included). The museum portrays in detail the epic events during the Battle of Arnhem in September 1944, when Allied airborne forces were planning to capture the bridges over the Rhine, Waal and Maas rivers. These dramatic events were immortalised in the famous film, A Bridge Too Far.
