Day 1 KOBLENZ, BOPPARD
Selected early morning coach pick-up and journey to
Dover/Folkestone for the 10.00am ferry/Eurotunnel
crossing to Calais. Alternatively, we offer
overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer. We will then journey to
Koblenz to join MS Britannia in time for your optional
three-course evening meal. During dinner, we will
cruise to Boppard.
Those taking the air option will fly direct from the
UK and transfer to the vessel.
*Passengers taking the overnight crossing from
the north of England or Scotland, will depart the
previous day and join the vessel on day 1.
Day 2 BOPPARD, RÜDESHEIM
This morning, the vessel will begin her cruise of the
river Rhine. We will travel to Rüdesheim, the most
famous of the wine villages, where we shall berth
around lunchtime. In Rüdesheim, you will have time
to explore the Christmas markets and to join our
optional excursion to Siegfried’s Mechanical Musik
Kabinett, followed by a glühwein tasting session. This
evening, enjoy our optional wine tasting excursion.
Day 3 RÜDESHEIM, KOBLENZ
After breakfast we will cruise to Koblenz, at the
confluence of the Rhine and Moselle. Take advantage
of our fascinating optional excursion to Cologne
where the Christmas markets offer many gift ideas.
On our return from Cologne, time-permitting,
we will make a short visit to the celebrated
Christkindlmarkt (Christmas market) in Koblenz.
Day 4 KOBLENZ
After breakfast we bid farewell to the vessel and
travel to Calais for the return 5.30pm Channel
crossing. Time permitting, we may stop at one of
the hypermarkets en route. Upon arrival, you will be
returned to your original point of departure.
Those taking the air option will transfer directly to
the airport for the return flight to the UK.
*Passengers returning on the overnight crossing to
the north of England or Scotland, will transfer to the
departure port and arrive in the UK the next day.
