Our cruises are suitable for people of all ages, except for children under the age of 6 months and women who are more than 28 weeks pregnant at the date of travel. Cruises are also not suitable for passengers who are totally confined to a wheelchair. They are however, suitable for wheelchair users with limited mobility, provided these passengers are accompanied by an able-bodied fellow passenger. Any passenger suffering from a disability must declare this on the booking form.
Regrettably the vessel is not specifically equipped for passengers confined to a wheelchair. Those passengers who may need to use a wheelchair must have their own standard size collapsible wheelchair, be able to negotiate the ship’s gangway while in port (a minimum of 32 steps) and must be accompanied by an able-bodied companion.
Any physical disability that may require special attention or treatment must be reported when your cruise reservation is made. Passage may be refused to anyone whose state of health or physical condition renders that person, in the opinion of the Shipping Line, unfit to travel, or whose condition may constitute a danger to that person or another passenger.
Your boarding card (white plastic identity card), received at check-in is also your on board cruise payment card. This card is magnet sensitive and should be kept separate from mobile phones, keys and other bank cards. When joining the ship on embarkation day a security photograph will be taken which will be stored in the ship’s computer. When getting on and off the ship you will be required to present this card to the ship’s Security Officer so that it may be swiped through the ship’s computer to update the register of passengers on board.
