Day 1 Join the direct overnight flight to Nairobi.
Day 2 On arrival, transfer to the Outspan Hotel, Nyeri for one night, a magical setting watched over by Mount Kenya.*
Day 3 To Mountain Lodge in Mount Kenya National Park for one night. Game viewing from lodge balconies as various animals come to visit the water hole.
Day 4 Arrive at Lake Nakura Lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park for one night. Look out for white rhino, leopard and rare Rothchild’s giraffe on a game drive.
Day 5 Another Lake Nakuru game drive, followed by transfer to Naivasha Sopa Lodge, Lake Naivasha for one night. On a boat safari spot giraffe grazing on acacia trees, pods of hippo bobbing about in the shallows, African fish eagles swooping down on tigerfish and over 400 reported species of birds flashing through the air.
Days 6-8 Across the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara for three nights in the Mara Sopa Lodge. Full-day game drives across this magnificent 15002 km expanse of open savannah brings the opportunity to spot the Big Nine: elephant, black rhino, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, lion, leopard, cheetah and zebra.
Day 9 Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Transfer to Nairobi with picnic lunch en route for one night with an evening meal at Carnivore restaurant.
Day 10 Morning return flight to the UK.

All the excellent lodges and hotels featured on this tour include pools, restaurants and bars. All rooms have full private facilities.
*Please note: Guests travelling on 6 November will spend their first night at Mount Kenya Lodge and the second night will be spent at the Outspan Hotel. All other details remain the same.
