Day 1 KOBLENZ
Selected early morning coach pick-ups and a journey
to Dover/Folkestone for a 8.15am ferry/Eurotunnel
crossing to Calais. Alternatively, we offer
overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer. From here we
will continue into Germany, arriving at Koblenz
where you will join MS Hispania in time for
an included three-course evening meal.
Those taking the air option will fly direct from the
UK and transfer to the vessel.
*Passengers taking the overnight crossing from
the north of England or Scotland, will depart the
previous day and join the vessel on day 1 for dinner.
Day 2 KOBLENZ, RÜDESHEIM
After breakfast we will cruise to the charming village
of Rüdesheim from where you will be able to join
our optional wine tasting & Siegfried’s Mechanical
Musik Kabinett excursion.
Day 3 RÜDESHEIM, ALKEN
Morning cruise to Alken, located on the banks of
the Moselle and dominated by its 12 century hilltop
castle. This afternoon we offer an optional excursion
to the Ahr Valley, one of the most beautiful of the
Rhine’s tributary valleys, where you can enjoy a wine
tasting. Evening at leisure in Alken.
Day 4 ALKEN, COCHEM
This morning we cruise to Cochem, underneath
the gaze of the magnificent Reichsburg Castle. From
here, we recommend you take advantage of our
Moselle explorer optional excursion, which includes
visits to Bernkastel and Beilstein.
Day 5 COCHEM, KOBLENZ
Today our cruise continues to Koblenz where you
can discover the many gothic churches and medieval
bridges. Don’t miss our fascinating Castles of the
Rhine optional excursion. After dinner this evening,
we include a party night with live entertainment.
Day 6 KOBLENZ
Bid farewell to our vessel and travel to Calais for
the 5.45pm return Channel crossing to Dover/
Folkestone. You will then be returned to your
original pick-up point.
Those taking the air option will transfer directly to
the airport for the return flight to the UK.
*Passengers returning on the overnight crossing to
the north of England or Scotland, will transfer to the
departure port and arrive in the UK the next day.
