Simply one of the most magical and welcoming capital cities in Europe. Tallinn is beautifully preserved, with architectural heritage to rival even Prague. A stroll around the city will present many impressive Gothic buildings, especially in the medieval Old Town with its winding cobbled streets. Admire the marvellous cathedral and town hall, dating back to the 14th century, not forgetting gabled roofs, soaring spires and ancient turrets. A real fairy tale scene.

Regarded as the ‘Jewel in the Baltic Crown’, with lovely waterside walkways and fascinating architecture reflecting the city’s past grandeur. Everything is built on a grand scale with the Nevsky Prospekt (main avenue) boasting great sights and monuments including the Winter Palace, the Summer Garden and St. Isaac’s Cathedral. Art lovers won’t want to miss the fabled Hermitage Museum, housing over three million works of art.

On our return, we will cruise from Holtenau to Brunsbuttel, along the Kiel Canal, the world’s busiest artificial waterway, linking the Baltic to the North Sea.

Special Note

3rd and 4th persons occupying a cabin
In addition to our designated three and four berth cabins, we have arranged for the third and fourth berths in higher grade cabins to be sold for an incredible price. If you book a twin bed outside cabin of Grade 6 or above, a third person can occupy your cabin for a great-value price(upper-berth). In a Grade 5 cabin and above, a third and a fourth person can join for the entire duration of the cruise for an excellent price! (Please note that this does not apply to Grade 4 cabins.)

Please note:

  • Inside cabins rely on artificial light
  • Outside cabins have a porthole (deck 4), window (deck 5 and above)
  • The term berth refers to an upper and lower bunk style bed
  • The upper berth is accessed via a small ladder
  • Two bedded cabins have two lower beds
  • Some two bedded cabins have additional fold-away upper berths which are not used when the cabin is occupied by two passengers
  • Third and fourth passengers sharing cabins are always accommodated in upper berths
  • All cabins are non-smoking
