Day 1 BREISACH
Selected early morning pick-ups and journey to
Dover/Folkestone for the 7.00am ferry/Eurotunnel
crossing to Calais. Alternatively, we offer
overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer. We will then journey
through France, Belgium and Germany to Breisach,
where you will join the MS Liberty Anne in time for
a welcome drink. Evening at leisure in Breisach.
Those taking the air option will fly direct from the
UK and transfer to the vessel.
*Passengers taking the overnight crossing from
the north of England or Scotland, will depart the
previous day and join the vessel on day 1 for dinner.
Day 2 BREISACH, BASLE
During breakfast, we cruise to the vibrant Swiss city
of Basle, Switzerland’s gateway to the sea.
In the afternoon, you will be at leisure to explore
Basle’s bustling Christmas Markets, boasting over
100 decorated stalls overflowing with gift ideas.
The evening is yours at leisure in Basle.
Day 3 BASLE, BREISACH
This morning we cruise back to Breisach, arriving
around lunchtime. In the afternoon, you can enjoy
an optional tour of the Black Forest. This fantastic
tour through the enchanting valleys includes a tour
of a cuckoo clock factory, where you can see the
largest cuckoo clock in the world.
Day 4 BREISACH, STRASBOURG
Before you wake, we make our way to Strasbourg,
where you’ll be able to explore one of France’s
oldest Christmas markets, located within the cobbled
streets of ‘Petite France’. In the evening, enjoy
an optional evening meal on board or head into
Strasbourg, the wine capital of the Alsace.
Day 5 STRASBOURG
After an early breakfast we journey through France
to Calais and the 5.30pm ferry/Eurotunnel crossing
to Dover/Folkestone. Upon arrival you will be
returned to your original point of departure.
Those taking the air option will transfer directly to
the airport for the return flight to the UK.
