The Purpose of the job
We are looking for someone who is keen to further their experience in an Administration role, in this small successful team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of all Microsoft packages in particular, Excel, Word & Outlook, a polite and confident telephone manner and excellent attention to detail.
Accountabilities

Providing a Sales Administration Service to Field Sales Managers and Travel Agent Partners
- Aswering telephone calls, primarily from Travel Agent accounts
- Dealing with queries from Travel Agents
- Compiling of daily sales figures for Agency Sales Department
- Registration of new Travel Agent accounts on in-house systems
- Maintaining existing Travel Agent accounts with any changes
- Recording of invoices and expenses for Agency Sales Team & liasing with Finance department to ensure process completed
- Filing of various correspondence
- Typing letters and emails as required
- Helping to compile various reports using Excel to show Travel Agent bookings, in order to help focus our sales and target key agents
- Sending of posters and promotional items to agents
- Booking hotels and flights for Field Sales Managers
- Liasing with brochure dispatch company regarding the ordering/dispatch of brochures. Monitoring stock levels. Maintaining management systems in relation to privileges of agents.
- Maintaining www.travelscopetrade.co.uk website
- Compiling & sending E-mail shots to agents – targeting specific Travelscope products and advising of any special offers running.
- Recording of Travel Agents concessionary bookings.
- Requesting artwork for Travel Agents, where appropriate, and following through to completion
- Preparing appointment packs for Field Sales Managers
- Dealing with queries from other departments
- Forming good working relations with Travel Agent accounts, sales colleagues and other departments.
- Representing Travelscope at Educationals, Shows & Agency Dinners where necessary
