Travelling the world is exciting and fun. But for those with a reduced level of mobility or sensory impairment it can also prove to be challenging. We understand. And this is why Travelscope has embarked on an ambitious journey to become the UK’s most accessible travel operator.
The process of training every single member of staff to recognise and address the desires and requirements of clients - whatever their level of mobility or special need, has already begun. As have improvements to the way we deliver information through larger-print, easier-read brochures, and a user-friendly access-compliant website. But there is more to come. Much more. Visual and hearing impaired guests on our ocean and river cruise ships will benefit from the introduction of assistive aids such as induction loop systems at reception desks and higher visibility signage and information, for example.
