This break also offers the opportunity to explore some of Italy’s most famous towns and cities. Enjoy a day in Rome and take in famous sights such as the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum; experience the historic town of Pompeii and Vesuvius National Park, or visit the idyllic island of Capri and the beautiful city of Naples.
Your holiday itinerary:
Day 1: Join the flight to Rome. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in the Spa resort of Fiuggi.
Day 2: After a continental breakfast, you are at leisure to explore the delights of Fiuggi, or to join our excellent full day optional excursion to Rome, taking in world famous sights such as the Sistine Chapel and Trevi Fountain.
Day 3: Today we will depart Fiuggi and take a memorable drive along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast. We will then visit the charming town of Amalfi with its narrow streets, speciality restaurants and a beautiful 11th century cathedral. From here, we continue to your hotel in the Sorrento area.
Days 4 & 5: After breakfast each morning, you will have time at leisure to explore the local area or to join our excellent optional excursions. On day four you might like to join us to visit the historic town of Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius National Park. Whilst on day five, you can discover the beautiful city of Naples and idyllic island of Capri.
Day 6: Sadly, today, we must bid farewell to Italy and rejoin the coach for the journey to Rome Airport and the return flight to the UK.
