Day 1: Depart Falmouth, UK. Take advantage of our complimentary coaching or join directly at the port.

Day 2: Cruising at sea .

Day 3: Vigo, Spain. Situated on the south eastern short of Vigo Bay - one of the finest of the Galacian Fjords, Vigo's impressive natural setting is enhanced by two ancient fortresses which dominate the town. From here join an optional excursion to Santiago de Compostela.

Day 4: "Christmas Eve", Gibraltar. Tonight we will arrive in Gibraltar with the famous Rock commanding the western entrances to the Mediterranean Sea.  Here you can enjoy the Christmas celebrations, which are very similar to our own.

Day 5: "Christmas Day", Gibraltar. During the morning you will have time to explore and open your present in the glorious sunshine.There's even a special on board carol service. As we set sail, the Christmas entertainment begins. A traditional five-course Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings is followed by Live West End style entertainment and music.

Day 6: "Boxing Day" , Casablanca, Morocco. The city is a symbol of modern Morocco and offers a unique combinations of old and new.

Day 7: Cruising at sea.

Day 8: Arrecife, Lanzarote. An incredible island of excellent sandy beaches, volcanic terrain and peaceful fishing villages is waiting to be discovered. Join an optional tour to Timanfaya National Park and experience a live volcano!

Day 9: Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands. As the third largest of the Canary Islands, you'll discover deserts and beaches, mountains an valleys and a wealth of historical and cultural interest.

Day 10: Santa Cruz, Tenerife. Today you can choose to discover the largest of the Canary Islands at your leisure, or perhaps join an optional excursion to the island's huge volcano.

Day 11: "New Year's Eve", Funchal, Madeira. We will berth in the charming capital of Funchal, which offers many attractions. Take time to explore, before returning to the Van Gogh for the evening's celebrations. Tonight, watch as the sky becomes illuminated with fireworks set off from over 50 points!

Day 12: "New Year's Day", Cruising at sea.  After witnessing Madeira's spectacular New Year fireworks display the Van Gogh will set sail for home.

Days 13 & 14: Cruising at sea.

Day 15: Arrive Falmouth, UK for the return coaching to your original departure point.
