Day 3: Lerwick, Shetland Islands. The Shetlands are Britain's most northerly islands, offering a dramatic history and character all of their own.You will have time at leisure in Lerwick to enjoy a small taste of what these fascinating islands have to offer.
Day 4: Cruising at sea.
Day 5: Gravdal, Lofoten Isles, Norway. Blessed by the stunning backdrop of the steep, rocky mountains of the Lofoten Islands.
Day 6: Tromso, Norway. Enjoy unique sights such as an extraordinary church in the shape of an iceberg!
Day 7: Hammerfest, Norway. Here is the world's most northernmost town. Explore the atmospheric Sommertorget (summer Square) and enjoy a taste of traditional maritime life or discover the many unique shops. Honningsvaag, North Cape, Norway. "Welcome to the top of the world!". Tonight is sure to be one of the highlights of your cruise as we travel along the North Cape Passage to Europe's most northerly point. Here you can witness the awesome sight of the Midnight Sun hanging above the Artic Ocean.
Days 8 & 9: Cruising at sea.
Day 10: Hellesylt, Norway. After gently cruising the awe-inspiring Geirangerfjord, we will arrive at the peaceful waterside town of Hellesylt, from where you will have the opportunity to join a full day optional overland short excursion to Geiranger. Geiranger, Norway. Those who decided not to join the overland excursion from Hellesylt will stay on board the Van Gogh and cruise to Geiranger.
Day 11: Bergen, Norway. "The Gateway to the Fjords" is Norway's second city and the capital of Fjord country. Discover the lively harbour and indulge in a variety of shopping. An optional tour of Bergen and the Funicular railway is available.
Days 12 & 13: Cruising at sea.
Day 14: Falmouth, UK. Return coach transfer to your original departure point.
