Praia, São Tiago, Cape Verde
Cape Verde is uniquely located at the cross-roads of three continents and as such offers a wonderful mix of African, Portuguese, Mediterranean and Latin influences.
We will call at the main island of the archipelago, São Tiago, and its friendly capital, Praia, where the city centre sits perched on a rocky plateau known as Platô. Praia is one of the most relaxed capital cities in the world, which isn't suprising with only some 60,000 inhabitants. There are a number of good beaches to discover, offering visitors the ideal opportunity to relax and soak up some well deserved sunshine.
