Summer Sunshine Cruise 2006 — Ex Falmouth

Fall in love with the MV Van Gogh and gently cruise to the sun-kissed Mediterranean at the very best time of the year. Top up the tan on deck and sip cocktails by the pool, enjoy a range of exciting on board activities, sample delicious cuisine and explore five wonderful ports of call – it’s easy to see why this cruise is so popular year after year!

Don't forget that for those committed to travelling in the School Holidays, our 'family friendly' departures offer excellent supervised activities for kids of all ages. We even include a special August Bank Holiday departure! For a more relaxed cruise, when the weather is warm, take advantage of our departures just after the school holiday period — there's something for everyone.

Day 1: Depart Falmouth, UK. Take advantage of our complimentary coaching or join directly at the port.

Days 2 & 3: Cruising at sea.

Day 4: Gibraltar. As you awaken, we will berth in Gibraltar, where the famous rock rises abruptly from the waters. Wholly British and bathed in glorious sunshine, Gibraltar offers all the familiarity of home, combined with the advantages of a foreign country. Later this afternoon we continue to Tangier, Morocco , in exotic north Africa. Here you can experience the unique atmosphere of the Old Medina and perhaps try your hand at some bartering!

Day 5: Malaga, Spain. Situated on Spain's sunny Costa del Sol, this fascinating Andalucian city offers an intriguing combination of Moorish and Spanish influences. Take time to visit the splendid Moorish palace and even sample the lively nightlife. Today, you may wish to join an optional shore excursion to the fabulous city of Granada. Alternatively, visit the village of Mijas.

Day 6: Cadiz, Spain. From this medieval town an optional excursion will be offered to the delightful city of Seville, where you can enjoy a traditional Andalucian dinner and spectacular Flamenco show.
