First stop is Bangkok with its intoxicating mix of golden temples, glittering skyscrapers, exotic nightlife and chaotic traffic. Then it's into Thailand’s second city - Chiang Mai, from where there will be the chance to enjoy a taste of the jungle and admire elephants in their natural habitat. In China we will visit Xi’an, home of the world famous Terracotta Warriors, before continuing to the fascinating capital city of Peking. Here, you can enjoy unforgettable full day excursions taking in the Forbidden City and Summer Palace, as well as the landmark Great Wall and Ming Tombs. After a such an exciting touring itinerary, you're sure to enjoy the opportunity to reflect on the many wonders you've seen on the palm-fringed beaches of Cha-Am… simply paradise! 

Your holiday itinerary:

Day 1: Join the flight to Amsterdam. Here you will join your connecting overnight flight to Bangkok.

Day 2: Morning arrival in Bangkok where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon we include a city tour that features the Temples of the Golden Buddha. This evening, you might like to enjoy the city’s vibrant nightlife!

Day 3: A day at leisure in Bangkok or join our fantastic optional excursion to the “Floating Market & Rose Garden”. For those who wish to round off their day in real style, we also offer an optional “Thai Dinner Dance” excursion, with traditional Thai meal.

Day 4: Today you are again free to enjoy the many wonders of Bangkok, but you might like to join our excellent optional “River Kwai” excursion. This excursion also includes a train ride to Namtoke where we have included lunch.

Day 5: This morning, we will transfer you to Bangkok Airport for a flight to Chiang Mai where we have reserved hotel accommodation. 

Day 6: A day to explore the many attractions of Chiang Mai, but for a taste of the jungle, we thoroughly recommend that you join our enchanting “Elephants & Orchids” optional excursion. This evening, join our optional “Kantoke Dinner” and enjoy a typical northern Thai meal, followed by traditional entertainment.

Day 7: This morning you will have time for last minute shopping and sightseeing in Chiang Mai, before we transfer you to the airport in time for your afternoon flight to Xi’an.

Day 8: Today we include a full day tour of the amazing city of Xi’an, which includes the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huangdi and his terracotta warriors and horses.

Day 9: An early morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Peking. Here, we include a full day tour to Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City, including lunch.

Day 10: Today, we include a full day tour of the Great Wall at Badaling. It’s hard to take everything in as you stand on this Wonder of the World that follows the contours of the land for some 3000 miles across China. We also visit the Ming Tombs.

Day 11: This morning we will visit the 800 year old Summer Palace and the beautiful Temple of Heaven. Later this afternoon, transfer to the airport for the flight to Bangkok. From here, we will continue to Cha-Am for a two night stay.

Day 12: Today you are at leisure in this idyllic, tropical paradise. Alternatively, we offer an optional excursion to “Discover Hua Hin & Cha-Am”. This evening, join our optional “Hua Hin by Night” excursion and enjoy dinner at a beachside restaurant.

Day 13: A further day to relax and reflect on your experiences in Thailand and China, or you might like to take advantage of our full day optional excursion to “Petchaburi Summer Palace”. Later this evening, we must bid farewell to Cha-Am and transfer to Bangkok Airport to join the return flight to Amsterdam.

Day 14: Early morning flight to Amsterdam, where you will join your connecting flight to the UK.
