Bangkok, the sprawling and exciting capital city, provides a dazzling start to your holiday. With its intoxicating mix of golden temples, glittering skyscrapers, exotic nightlife and chaotic traffic, it has to be seen to be believed! A world away from Bangkok is Kanchanaburi, home to the world famous ‘Bridge over the River Kwai’. And where better to end your holiday than in your own piece of paradise, relaxing on the palm-fringed beaches and swimming in the clear, warm waters of the idyllic resort of Cha-Am. 

Your holiday itinerary:

Day 1: Join the flight to Amsterdam. Here you will join your connecting overnight flight to Bangkok. On some dates, direct flights from Gatwick are available.

Day 2: Morning arrival in Bangkok where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon we include a city tour that features the Temples of the Golden Buddha and the Reclining Buddha. This evening, those who are still feeling energetic might like to sample the vibrant nightlife in Bangkok!

Day 3: A day at leisure in Bangkok or join the first of our fabulous optional excursions - a tour up country to the “Floating Market & Rose Garden”. This evening we offer a unique opportunity to take a “Bangkok Dinner Cruise” down the Chao Phraya River, including a traditional Thai meal.

Day 4: This morning, enjoy more of Bangkok or join our optional “Klong Tour & Grand Palace” excursion, which includes a boat trip along the Chao Pyra River. This afternoon, you’ll have time at leisure, whilst this evening, we offer an optional “Thai Dinner Dance”, including a traditional meal.

Day 5: Morning departure from Bangkok for Kanchanaburi. You will have the afternoon at leisure, whilst in the evening, be sure to join our optional “Night Safari Adventure” and bathe with the elephants!

Day 6: Today we offer a fascinating optional excursion to the “River Kwai”. You will also enjoy a train ride to Namtoke where we have included lunch. This afternoon we will transfer to Cha-Am. This evening, join our optional “Hua Hin by Night” excursion.

Day 7: Today you are at leisure in this idyllic, tropical paradise.  Alternatively, you might like to take advantage of our full day optional excursion to “Petchaburi Summer Palace”.

Day 8: This morning, we offer an optional excursion to discover the many delights of  Hua Hin & Cha-Am. This afternoon, you will have time at leisure to relax and enjoy the resort.

Day 9: A further day to relax before the late evening departure for Bangkok Airport to join the return flight via Amsterdam to the UK... unless, of course, you have chosen to extend your stay in Cha-Am!

Day 10: Arrival at the airport from where you will make your own way home.
